Per usual, I like to work outside the box, so I've modified the July Monthly Subscription 
(that's right, CTMH offers a monthly subscription that ships right to your house)

Part of the ease of the subscription layouts, 
is that they include everything you need (except adhesive)
 and you can literally create this layout in minutes.

You can do something like this

I cut the base pages down and flipped them on their head

added a couple of photo mats, a spot for journaling, 

stamped an "Exploring" title

 and this page in my daughter's trip to Disney 2019 album is done.

Disney Mini Album/Journal

My daughter is heading to Walt Disney World without me this year.  She's turning 21, and is going to celebrate in Disney with her friends.  But, I had to be a part of her Birthday Celebration, so I created this Mini Album/Journal for her to take with her.  I based it on her itinerary and left lots of room for her to customize it as she sees fit.

I used Close to My Heart's Everyday Album This is a 3 ring black faux  leather album (9 ⅜" × 8¼" × 1½")  that takes 6"x8" memory (page) protectors .   I created a 2 page layout for each day of her trip and then tucked a pocket page (that would hold two 4x6 pictures) between each day so she could add more photos .

My daughter is a bit of a "list" girl, so I started her album off with her top 10 

   

Then I gave her a spot to highlight the resort she will be staying at

Disney's Saratoga Springs 

Her first park is Animal Kingdom

And then Hollywood Studio's

Then the Magic Kingdom

And after that....Epcot

Sometimes, you need a break from Disney

So, she's doing one day at Universal Studios

And then a day at the beach. 

Well, sort of...Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

Then back to Disney, and another day at Epcot

Funny, when she was younger, 

she didn't want to spend too much time in this park, 

but now that she's an adult, it's a bit more appealing.

And for her last day she's doing Hollywood Studios, again

I've left page titles off of all these layouts, so she can use them as she wants.

Who knows, once she gets her pictures back, she might re-arrange the whole album.

Days of Dec..Just for Fun

I like the Days of December Promo that Close to my Heart is offering this month.  

It's fairly simple, quick and easy.  It's also very traditional.  

However, don't despair if you hanker for something just a little bit out of the ordinary.

CTMH also has this wonderful ...Just for Fun workshop kit 

So I downloaded the instructions for the Days of December 

and then

with a little tweaking,

 a couple of extra sheets of cardstock 

and a little stamping,  and a few cricut cuts

you could make what I did.

         

the page above was inspired by Tina Law

The great thing about this mini album is that it uses a variety of pocket pages.

Pocket pages are perfect for slipping in a photo, with or without a mat.

And they make designing your pages so easy

If you aren't into stamping and using your cricut

consider adding in the Picture my Life Holiday Style cards

12---3x4 and 12---4x6   festive cards with saying and patterns 

that work beautifully with the Just for Fun paper

This is Me--my version of the Cut Above Layout Kit

Yep, if you follow my me, you know I don't follow directions well.  I'm always looking for another way to use something.

Well this kit was a wozzers of project.  I took a 3--2page layouts and turned them into a baby book

This is what you could make if you followed the directions included in the Cut Above Layout Kit--This is ME

Three lovely 2 page layouts.

Or with the addition of some cricut cuts 

and some paper from CTMH's Fresh Air and a few stamped images you could make

something this...

Any album that ends with a Dr. Suess quote has gotta be good.
