first cut the flap off of 5 colonial white envelopes
cut 5 4" x 6 1/4" chocolate pieces
score at 3/4" (round the top 3/4" corner)
apply strong adhesive to chocolate pieces, leave 1/4 gap from scored edge (this will allow the album to open and close easier)
adhere the 3/4" scored side of the chocolate piece to front of the envelope
then adhere the 4 x5 1/2 " side to the back of the next envelope
Repeat until all 5 envelopes are connected
cut 5 2 1/2 x 5 1/2 strips and adhere to front of envelopes
Add decorative strip to envelope page
I used the zip strips off of the patterned paper and matted them on 3/4" chocolate strips
I cut 5 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 pieces of a subtle patterned paper and matted this onto the 4 x 5 1/2 chocolate piece (on the back of the evelopes)
to make the cover
cut a piece 6" x 12" in chocolate
score at 5 3/4 and 6 1/2
add a 2 x 6 inch piece to the 5 3/4 side (I used pacifica)
note you should end up with a 6 x6 inch square for a front cover
cut a 3 x 6 inch piece and add to other side, score in 1 inch
(you should have a 6x6 inch square back cover with a 2 inch flap)
cut 2 6x6 inch squares of chocolate and adhere to inside of covers (leave the 3/4 inch scored center free for the spine of the album)
adhere envelope stack to front cover.
bottom of evelopes should be about 1/2 above bottom of cover
cut a 4 x 10 inch piece of chocolate and score it at 5 1/2"
adhere the 4 x 5 1/2 side to the back of the last envelope
and then glue down the 4 x 4/1/2 side to the back cover
(note: do not glue the spine)
Time to use the Cricut AP cartridge
cut 10 circle 3 (page 31) at 1 3/4 inch in colonial white
then stamp swirls from Love Life stamp set in sunset ink
and ink edges
cut 5 circle 3 (page 31) at 2 inches and mat 5 of the white circles on the sunset circles
cut 5 5 x 5 1/2" piece out of colonial white round top right corner
adhere matted circles to front of removable pages
the back of the removable pages will then look like this
mat the remaining 5 colonial white circles like so
make some cricut flowers I used flower 8 (page 50)
cut at 1 3/4 inches in colonial white
then I inked the edges in sunset
then used the sponge dauber to ink the center
then I matted these on 2" flower #8 (goldrush cardstock)
I used these flowers to embellish the album
front cover
I used the big brad to adhere two of the flowers to the front cover
then I used some chocolate waxy flax to wrap around the brad to keep the album closed
(you could use ribbon)
you could futher bling this up any way you wanted
Hope these instructions are followable
