Wow, does time fly when you are pushed to create every week. You should have arrived here from
Adeline's Blog
This week I have chosen to tackle a bitter sweet memory...my wedding day.
For years, I said to myself "soon, soon I will find the right paper, the right embellishments to do this album up right" then Brian died.
Now I am faced with the dilemma of scrapbooking one of the happiest days of my life, without infusing it with bitter sweet memories.
Then this Artbooking cartridge came along.
Perfectly beautifully designed layouts, that do justice to the memory.

This is the layout I chose, with a few alterations.
First, I added a pocket behind the main picture.
I also added a bit of bling to the layout
One of the neatest things about this Artbooking cartridge is the "background" paper.
You can make stunning layouts using only cardstock.
Now let see what Paige has created.

Beautiful!! - BUT you have to tell me how many years it has been! Our wedding anniversary is Monday and I have still not scrapbooked the event! So I guess you are still ahead of me!
ReplyDeleteHi Adeline,
DeleteWe were married 12 years. Brian died in 2006
What a beautiful layout. I can't imagine the challenge you have ahead scrapbooking these memories. Love and Prayers!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful layout!
ReplyDeleteWOW... what beautiful pages and a wonderful way to cherish these memories! I love your envelope pocket tip (thanks).
ReplyDeleteYour layout is lovely. Best to you as you work on the rest of your pages. It is a reminder to really live and love everyday and not take one minute for granted.
ReplyDeleteOMG - love the tip about using an envelope to hold a pull out. I so wish I had thought of that a couple of months ago when I did one on a layout!
ReplyDeleteOn a personal note, my heart goes out to you for your loss. Your layouts are a beautiful celebration of a moment in time and capture the love and joy of the day. Now I truly understand why you rock out on layouts and mini albums - you truly understand the reason why we all need to scrapbook.
Love ya girl! Hugs,
Paige
