This month's stamp "Happy Place" reminds me of my heritage. I'm Ukrainian-Canadian. And the Matrushka doll images definately pulls at my heart strings. Here's a little history Matrushka means nesting, and the first Matrushka doll was carved in Russia in 1890 by Vasily Zvyozdochkin. We will be holding a family reunion next year and I will be using this set a - LOT.
However, today I chose to use just the one sentiment, in a totally different way.
