Cruisin'--farewell album/card

One of theeee most bubbly person's I know is leaving work (her husband got transfered)
and I was wondering what to do for her.
Then it hit me.
I still had the coveres from the superhero bookmark album I made my nephew
From February 17, 2012

(you can see the whole album under the superhero bookmark album post--Feb 19)

And I had a pack of "Cruisin" paper
so
this is what I did
From February 17, 2012

Fisrt I covered the "front" by wrapping the paper around it
Clipping the corners makes for a nice neat backside
From February 17, 2012

Then I adhere a piece of patterned paper (3 7/8 x 7 7/8) to the inside of the front cover
to cover up the rough edges
I had a 3x3 envelope on hand so I decorated it a bit and stuck in on the inside cover (as shown)

This is the little card that went in the envelope.

adhere the pattered strip to the red cardstock
Note: attach large shimmer brad BEFORE adhering red strip to page

The nice thing about pockets is you can add more tags if needed
I only used two, you could do three or four if you liked.

(I know these last couple of  post seem kinda out of order, but I didn't know how the tag would turn out until I finished it, sorry if I've confused you --this last post is the front side of the envelope page)

Not sure if this is the best way to cover these album covers
They look good when done, but I think there is too much paper when you fold around the curve
which means that the magnets don't work too well too keep it closed.
I would advise you just to trim around the album and then sand the edges smooth
